- Good things happen when LBCC faculty bring their classes to the library to meet with a librarian. Students discover how to make the best use of the library's information resources, both its physical collection and its "virtual" one : the extensive array of electronic databases that the library subscribes to, and that can be accessed "anytime/anywhere."
For fall, 2005 scheduling is designed to reach more students by being more convenient for instructional faculty. Here are the guidelines:
- Schedule requested dates two or more weeks in advance
- Librarians are available to meet with classes at LAC:
- between 7:15 a.m. and 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday
- between 7:15 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Friday
- between 10:15 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday
- At PCC Library (x3028) librarians are available to meet with classes
- between 8:15 a.m. and 8:45 p.m. Monday through Thursday
- between 8:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. on Friday
- between 10:15 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. on Saturday
- At LAC, classes normally will meet in L 208 (Open Access Lab, 2nd floor); PCC Library classes are held in the Library, GG207
