 Combating Plagiarism

The following helpful and timely news item was supplied to the LBCC Library by CQ Researcher, one of the library's subscription databases which covers current events and "hot" issues in the news .

An increasingly important topic facing librarians, educators, and the educational system at large is plagiarism. In an age of increased accessibility to information, plagiarism has become a temping option for many students and patrons. A recently released CQ Researcher issue, "Combating Plagiarism" (September 19, 2003, v. 13-32), has piqued the interest of librarians across the country.

Below is a link to a complimentary, full color, PDF of the CQ Researcher issue, "Combating Plagiarism." Hopefully, both you and your colleagues will find this issue both helpful and informative. Please feel free to forward this complimentary issue as appropriate.
