Periodicals are items that are issued continuously, such as magazines, newspapers and journals.

The Periodicals Area of the Library at the Liberal Arts Campus is located on the west side of the first floor of Building L, next to the Reference Area. The periodicals are arranged by call number.

Periodicals at the Pacific Coast Campus Library can be found on the top floor of the Library, Building GG. The periodicals are arranged alphabetically by title.

Periodicals are also accessed through online databases on the Internet which contain full-text articles, indexes, and abstracts. Subject access to articles is enhanced by using online periodical databases.

Ask for assistance at the Reference Desk if you need additional help in locating titles and articles.

Whenever the Library is open, there is always at least one assistant on duty at the Periodicals Desk to provide assistance in locating the periodical issues held by the Library.

You may also access information from periodicals electronically through ProQuest, Health Reference Center, or other online databases. You may obtain passwords from a librarian at the Reference Desk.
